Astoria - we highlight the riverwalk trail and dike trails by the airport

cape disappointment - an amazing 1880 acres of lush landscapes, dunes and trails

ecola state park - old growth forest and beaches, with several miles of hiking trails

gnat creek trail - beautiful mountain biking and hiking trail, revealing a lush 100 year old forest, following gnat creek

Lewis and Clark National Historical park/fort Clatsop - a true gem in Clatsop county with hikes, tours, visitor center and replicas of the original fort structures

fort columbia state park - 600 acre state park in Washington, with historic wood-frame buildings, and forested hiking trails

fort stevens state park - an old military installation, active from the civil war to WWII, and now a remarkable destination with several miles of trails

saddle mountain - a strenuous, uplifting hike to the tallest mountain in Clatsop county.  Unforgettable!

soapstone lake trail - a seldom used loop hike to a delightful lake; great backpacking for beginners

willapa national wildlife refuge - 11,000 acres of incredible Biological diversity, with multiple hikes on Long Island and the mainland

Oswald west state park - 2500 acres of terrific hikes by the beach, and up to Neahkahnie Mountain, linking other landmarks and park trails
